2nd Annual Kick off to Summer BBQ Fundraiser a Huge Success!
On June 3rd Richcroft proudly hosted our Annual “Red, White & ‘Que” Kick off to Summer BBQ at Oregon Ridge Park. The weather was tremendous for this second annual event, and we were proud to bring together more than 350 staff members, sponsors, donors, board members, supported individuals and families to celebrate, raise funds, and raise awareness for our growing programs here at Richcroft.
The community truly came together in support of the event, with more than 27 sponsors! A large silent auction, a plant wheel, and a very popular YETI Cooler Raffle sponsored by the Richcroft Board, helped us raise more than $77,400 in total for our participants and programs! This funding will be instrumental in helping to expand our newly created Community Development Services (CDS) Day Program! Over the next year, we hope to double this program in size, to serve 60 individuals in the community, 5 days a week!
We would like to thank all of those who came out to celebrate with us on this very special day, including Maryland Secretary of Disabilities Carol Beatty, who presented Richcroft with a Governor’s Citation in honor of Richcroft’s 40 years.
